I love what I do and I do what I love! That's the philosophy here at Sunshine Hill Pets. I am occassionally asked how many dogs I own. My answer to that is none. They own me. I supply feed, water and clean up after them. In the beginning God gave the human race the responsibility to care for the animals. I share my life and heart with many who love and trust me, thats my answer.
You will find various breeds at my house. It is not because I am a puppy mill, but I just have a weakness for cute puppies. I love all breeds of dogs. They all have special qualities about them. I do not breed my dogs every heat cycle. The mommas love their babies and would happily have new babies to care for all the time, but I feel they do need a little break between raising puppies.
Look through the pages of my website and see if I have the perfect best 4- legged friend for you and your family. Every puppy is born in my house and stays inside until they are at least 10 weeks old. At that time, I may move the puppy out to the house with the adult dogs, which is heated and air conditioned. I spend time playing outside with them until they go to their new family. At the adult house, the puppies learn to use a doggy door and do their business outside. I have a large exercise pen where they run and play in the grass and get to chase cats. The cats consider it a game, I have watched them walk slowly in front a dog, flutter their tail and invite the chase to the fence where the cat climbs over and will sit on the other side, just tantalizing the dogs.
