Do you know this man? This is an artist's rendition of the son of God, Jesus. He left Heaven to come into this world as a mere baby to live 33 years as a man. He met with the same temptations as we all face. But he NEVER sinned. He that knew no sin, became sin on the cross so they we may be saved. He knew that his end would be death upon a cross. To suffer, bleed and die for the salvation of God's greatest, most beloved creation, MAN.
Jesus spent his time on earth telling people how to make Heaven their home. He did many great miracles, healing the sick, raising the dead and pointing all who would believe to his Heavenly Father, God. He taught to love our neighbors as ourselves. To avoid sinful ways. To accept the great plan of salvation that God prepared, so that when we stand before God we can hear the words, Well done, my good and faithful servant. A crown of life is waiting for you.
The Bible tells us that all people will die. And that is a proven fact. We see people of all ages die every day. How sad to be as the unbeliever and believe that this world is all there is. After death we will stand before God for judgement. Will your name be written in the book of life? Or will you hear the terrible words, Depart from me, I never knew you. To be cast into the Hell with the Devil and his demons. Hell was not created for man. But if we refuse the mercy of God and live our lives according to the ways of the Devil and not acknowledge our sinful ways, Hell is where we will spend eternity. In a fire that burns forever, from which there is no relief. And I believe that for all eternity we will think of the times we heard a sermon or someone invited us to church, or presented us with the plan of salvation.
In Heaven, all is peace. There is no need for the sun by day or the moon by night, for there will be no night. The glory of God will shine all the time. There is no pain or sadness in Heaven, for God shall wipe away all our tears.
If you have never asked God to be your Savior, or have drifted away from him. I pray that you will continue to read and see how to accept the sacrifice that Jesus offered on the Cross of Calvary.
ROMANS ROAD TO SALVATION
Romans 3:23 - "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God." We have all sinned
Romans 6:23 - "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." The punishment that we have earned for our sins is death. Not just physical death, but eternal death!
Romans 5:8 - "But God dmonstrates his own love thoward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." Jesus' death paid for the price of our sins. Jesus' resurrection proves that God accepted Jesus' death as the payment for our sins.
Romans 10:9 "That if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." Becasue of Jesus' death on our behalf, all we have to do is believe in Him, trusting His death as the payment for our sins - and we will be saved.
Romans 5:1 "Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ." Through Jesus Christ we can have a relationship of peace with God.
If you would like to accept Jesus as your Savior you can pray to God. Saying this prayer is a way to declare to God that you are ready to accept what Jesus did on the cross. Mere words will not save you! Only faith in Jesus Christ can provide salvation.
Please say "God, I know that I have sinned against you and am deserving of the punishment. But I believe that your son, Jesus took the punishment that I deserve so that through faith in Him I will be forgiven. With your help, God, I now place my trust in You for Salvation. Thank you for your wonderful plan of forgiveness and the promise of eternal life with You. AMEN
